Scholastic Program

The St Joseph Academy International School, Sankarapuram follows the NCERT syllabus from classes I to VIII. Apart from the syllabus given by the Board, the subjects viz., Value Education, Computer Science, Spoken English and General Knowledge are also included. After careful designing, the text book and the materials for the year is selected by a highly qualified team of academic experts.

The curriculum design is made at the beginning of each year. To implement this carefully knit system, dedicated teachers facilitate the flow of knowledge to the students. The main focus is however on developing the skills required for 3 R’s – Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. The academic experts in various disciplines decide the areas to be emphasized for a holistic learning to help the child excel physically, mentally and spiritually

Scholastic Assessment includes all the academic subjects throughout the year.

It involves both Periodic Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA)
